About Anya
Feb. 19th, 2013 10:25 pmAnya is a character from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. (That's the anime.) She appears in R2 as one of Suzaku's buddies in the Knights of the Round, Britannia's most elite and highly-ranked Knightmare pilots. Although she's a fairly minor character, she does play an important role in the story due to [redacted]. She spends most of the season fighting Zero's forces and hanging out with Suzaku and Gino. She is the Knight of Six and pilot of the Mordred.
At age fifteen, she is the youngest Knight of the Round. Her personality is extremely subdued to the point of being rudimentary; although she is intelligent, she displays very little interest in anything other than battle, photography, and cats. This is in part due to her memory problems--Anya suffers from frequent memory lapses, which is why she constantly takes photographs and posts them on a blog. She feels compelled to leave a record of herself in order to prove that she and the things she experience actually happened. She's also a ruthless combatant and though she doesn't go out of her way to brutalize her enemies, she gives them no quarter either.
Anya is a very good pilot of Knightmare Frames, which are basically like small Gundams on rollerskates. Her Mordred is geared towards blasting the holy hell out of enemies from a distance with a massive energy cannon and/or missiles, but in light novels she demonstrates her ability to win a fight even in a construction unit. She is also a capable swordfighter, and as a soldier is trained in the use of firearms as well.
